We are members of an approved Client Money Protection (CMP) scheme.
This means that any money we hold on behalf of Landlords and Tenants is protected to prevent client money being misappropriated.

We are members of UKALA, the UK Association of Letting Agents and are covered by the
UKALA Client Money Protection Scheme, which is backed by Hiscox Insurance.

Handling of client money
In accordance with UKALA requirements and best practice:
- Client money is held in a separate designated client account
- Client accounts are regularly reconciled
- Client funds are never mixed with company operating funds
- Payments are made only in accordance with written instructions

property redress scheme (prs)
Brook Hudson is a member of the Property Redress Scheme (PRS), an independent government‑approved redress scheme for residential letting and property management agents in England.
PRS provides a free, impartial complaints resolution service for landlords and tenants. Membership is a legal requirement and ensures that, if a complaint cannot be resolved directly with us, it can be independently reviewed.

Tenancy deposit scheme (tds)
Brook Hudson is a member of the Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS), a government‑approved tenancy deposit protection scheme.
All tenancy deposits are protected in accordance with the Housing Act 2004. Deposits are registered with TDS within the required timescales, and tenants are provided with the prescribed information confirming how their deposit is protected.
What this means for tenants and landlords
- Tenancy deposits are protected by law
- Deposits are held securely for the duration of the tenancy
- A free and independent dispute resolution service is available if there is a disagreement at the end of the tenancy
- Deposits are returned promptly at the end of the tenancy, subject to agreed deductions
